Loft Insulation Materials

Space Insulation is a range of loft insulation products designed specifically for DIY installation. Simple to install it's widely available at leading DIY stores such as B&Q, Focus and Homebase.

The compression packaging of Space Blanket and Space Combi-Roll means you can get more rolls in your car and fit them easily through the loft hatch, but when you unpack them they expand to full size.

Space Blanket
 Space Blanket
A premium "encapsulated" glass mineral wool product for use between 400mm ceiling joists or on top of existing insulation. The sleeved encapsulation is a part metallised fire-retardant polythene film that reflects heat and makes it extra easy and comfortable to install. It is also "compression packed" for less handling - expanding when unrolled.

Space Board
 Space Board
A high performance polystyrene insulation board which provides an insulated storage deck in your loft. This energy saving product prevents heat loss through the roof of your home. Space Board provides a solid storage deck, making it ideal in combination with Space Blanket or Space Combi-Roll.

Space Combi-Roll
 Space Combi-Roll
A natural glass mineral wool product with pre-cut perforations, enables it to be used between either 400mm or 600mm horizontal ceiling joists. It is "compression packed" to minimise handling but will spring out to the required thickness when unwrapped. The 100mm Space Combi-Roll is for use between ceiling joists while the 170mm Space Combi-Roll is for use above ceiling joists.
